Elsie Bowra

Elsie M. Bowra, 86, formerly of Eden Park Healthcare Center, Cobleskill and most recently of Mt. Loretto Nursing Home, Amsterdam, died Mon., Aug. 13, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam, NY.

Mrs. Bowra was born in New York, NY on April 25, 1921 and was predominantly a homemaker. She enjoyed camping, Country music and both Line and Square Dancing. She enjoyed animals, nature and spending time with her family.

A Memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. on Sat., Aug. 25, 2007 at the Palmer& Shaylor, Inc. Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh, NY. Rev. Carol Coltrain of the Huntersland United Methodist Church will be officiating. A calling hour will be held before the service, Saturday, from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. Cremation took place at the Vale Cemetery Crematorium, Schenectady, NY.
