Elizabeth D. Miller, 82, of North Rd., died Monday, July 21, 2008 at her home, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Miller was born in Conesville, NY on January 30, 1926, a daughter of the late Allen and Mable (Case) Rogers. She was a member of the Brimstone United Methodist Church. Mrs. Miller loved all kinds of crafts, painting ceramics, crocheting, gardening and repairing her own vehicle as well as the vehicles of her family and friends. Mrs. Miller was predeceased by her son, John L. VanDyke and also by her sister, Marion Cavoti and her brother, Stanley Rogers. She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Miller, of Jefferson, NY, whom she married on May 7, 1966 and by

A Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at the Palmer & Shaylor, Inc. Funeral Home, 134 River St. Middleburgh, NY. Michael Gebhard, Worship Leader of the Mineral Springs United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Ashland, NY. Calling hours will be from 6-8pm on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at the funeral home.
