Elizabeth "Betty" Cozzolino

Richmondville - Elizabeth (Betty) Cozzolino was born on November 26, 1938, in Mamaroneck, New York to Vito and Adeline Sinopoli. Betty married Stanley Cozzolino on June 15, 1958 and she and Stanley had a beautiful 55 year marriage together. They resided in Mamaroneck until moving to Richmondville, NY in 1996. Betty went to Mamaroneck High School, and then worked for Westchester Community College. She also worked for Westchester County. While living in Richmondville, she became very active in the community working with the Summit Seniors, The Tops Program and The Red Hats, even becoming President of the local chapter of the organization. She loved to bowl and collect many things.  Her beloved husband, Stanley, predeceased her on August 17, 2013, in addition to her daughter, Regina on September 8, 2010. She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth, Linda LaBella (Joe) and Lauren. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Julianna, Samantha (Ryan), Joseph (Jessica), John Vincent, Livia, and Matthew. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt to many and will be greatly missed. She passed at home on Sunday, February 27, 2022, in the presence of family and her cherished dog, Bella.
