Summit- Mrs. Elizabeth M. Baskerville, 87, of Summit, died Monday, April 2, 2007 at Eden Park Healthcare Center in Cobleskill.
Mrs. Baskerville was born July 4, 1919 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Arthur and Elizabeth (Russell) Alexander.
She was a homemaker and since the 1940's her family had spent their summers in Summit and then moved here permanently in 1977.
Mrs. Baskerville was a communicant of St. Anna's Catholic Church in Summit.
She was predeceased by her husband, William F. Baskerville, who died July 6, 1983 and her son, Charles Baskerville in November 1996.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Donna (Jay) Heassler of Summit and Marianne Baskerville of Schenectady; a son, William A. (Janice)Baskerville of Summit;a daughter-in-law, Brenda Baskerville; her sister, Martha Baber of Oakland, Ca; 8 grandchildren, Kristy Baskerville and William A. Baskerville, Jr., Kyle (Lindsey) Heassler and Matthew (Heather) Heassler, Domielle, Chantelle, Timesha, and Marcus Hilliard; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 niece and 1 nephew.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 5, at St. Anna's Catholic Church State Route 10 Summit, with Father Edward Golding as celebrant. Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday at the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home 171 Elm Street Cobleskill. Burial will be in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anna's Catholic Church State Route 10 Summit, NY 12175.
