Eleanor Diamond

Central Bridge- Mrs. Eleanor M. Diamond, 79, of Enders Ave., died Thursday, January 4, 2007, at her residence.
Mrs. Diamond was born May 19, 1927 in Hyndsville, Town of Seward, and was the daughter of Thomas and Agnes (Hurley) Nethaway.
She was a homemaker all her life, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and great-aunt. Mrs. Diamond was of Catholic faith.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Sheldonna Pasieka and many siblings.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Diamond, Sr., whom she married May 18, 1945; a daughter, Judy (David) Ellis of Middleburgh; a son, Donald (Amabelle) Diamond, Jr. of Kirkland, WA; 3 granddaughters: Amanda, Tiffany, and Danielle; 4 grandsons: David, Michael, Bryon, and Adam; 4 great-granddaughters: Emily, Maggie, Meghan, and Lily; 4 great-grandsons: Calvin, Caleb, Adison, and Aidan; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews; and her beloved dog, Snuggles.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at Palmer & Shaylor, Inc. Funeral Home 134 River St. Middleburgh, with Father Thomas F. Holmes officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Middleburgh Cemetery.
