Elda Terry

Cobleskill- Elda M. Terry, 101, of Jefferson Ave., died Friday, July 8, 2011 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital following a brief illness.

Born May 17, 1910 in Jefferson, NY, she was a daughter of Ward and Maude (Stewart) Mann.

Elda lived most of her life in Cobleskill and at one time was a seamstress at the former Cobel's Sportswear in Cobleskill.

She was extremely devoted to her family and committed to her religious beliefs.

Elda was predeceased by a daughter, Beverly Terry; a grandson, David Schrader; and a great-grandson, Alan Paul Puffer.

Survivors include two daughters: Gladys Barner of Lake Worth, FL and Alice Puffer of Venice, FL; seven grandchildren: Donna Robtoy of Cobleskill, Douglas Schrader of College Station, TX, Donald Schrader of Cobleskill, Sandra Lupe of Albany, and Brian Puffer of Amsterdam, Barry Puffer of Dunn, NC, and Shari Fiore of Leesburg, FL; nine great-grandchildren: Larissa (Robtoy) Hewitt of Norfolk, MA, Christopher Schrader of Arlington, VA, Jennifer (Greene) Hendrickson of Waynesboro, GA, Ashley Greene of Sunnyside, NY, Sarah Puffer of Amsterdam, Eric Puffer of Scotia, NY, Brad Fiore of Leesburg, FL, Kira Fiore of Leesburg, FL, and Barry Puffer II, of Orlando, FL.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Bond Funeral Home, at the corners of Broadway and Guilderland Ave., Schenectady. Burial will follow in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery. Family and friends are also invited to a period of visitation to be held from 6 to 8 PM on Saturday at Bond Funeral Home.
