Edward R. Palmatier, 57, of Cliff St., died Tuesday December 9, 2008 at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany NY after being stricken.
Mr. Palmatier was born on May 2, 1951 in Schenectady, NY, a son of the late Edward L. and Golden M. (Hallenbeck) Palmatier. He graduated from Middleburgh Central School and worked as a distributor for RKB in Elmira, NY and most recently a buyer for Curtis Lumber in Clifton Park, NY. Mr. Palmatier enjoyed hunting, boating on Raquette Lake and collecting stamps and coins. He was predeceased by his wife, Patricia Palmatier.
Mr. Palmatier is survived by his son, Corey Palmatier of Clifton Park, NY, grandson Corey Palmatier,II., of Glens Falls, NY, brother, E. Thomas Palmatier (Kathy) of Galway, NY, nephew E. Thomas Palmatier, Jr., of Florida, NY and aunt Ilene Herrington (Ray) of Norwich, NY
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday December 15, 2008 at the Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh, NY. Rev. Peter J. DeBartolo will officiate. Spring interment will be in the Middleburgh Cemetery. Friends are also invited to call from 12-2pm at the funeral home, prior to the service.
