Howes Cave, NY -Edward A. (Bud) Meister, 80, died February 25, 2012 following a short illness.
He was born in East Orange, NJ on May 17, 1931 the son of Edward L. and Mary Cecelia (O'Donnell ) Meister.
Bud was a United States Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict from 1952 until receiving an honorable discharge in 1954.
He was a self-employed real estate appraiser and lived most of his life in Titusville and Whiting, NJ.
Bud was predeceased by his first wife, Alice J. Williams, his second wife, Janet D. Green and his son, Jeffrey L. Meister.
He is survived by his children: Beth (Christian) Cash of Howes Cave, NY, Edward R. (Roseanne) of Hamilton, NJ and Mark (Catherine) of Contoocook, NH. He is survived by 13 grand-children: Jennifer (Timothy) Schlegel of Saugerties,NY and Steven (Jeannie Barton) Cash of Danby, VT, Tristan DeFazio and Lyle Meister of Hamilton, NJ, Benjamin, Gretchen and Tempe Meister of Ewing, NJ, and Noah, Emily, Reuben, Abby, Amara, and Azarius Meister of Contoocook, NH. He is also survived by his friend, Norma Schultz of Titusville, NJ.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 10th at the Titusville Presbyterian Church. The funeral service will begin at 11:00AM and interment will follow at the Harbourton Cemetery, Harbourton, NJ.
