Edward Bradt, Sr.

Carlisle- Edward E. Bradt, Sr., 77, of Kniskern Road, died Thursday, October 29, 2020 at his home while in the care of his loving family.

Born December 30, 1942, he was the son of Frank and Pauline (Wright) Bradt.

Ed loved the outdoors, farming, deer hunting, working on his tractors.  He also enjoyed playing cards, fairs, listening to old country music and watching Westerns.  Above all, Ed found the greatest pleasure in visiting with family and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his children: Ed (Terry) Bradt, Jr. of Cobleskill, Donna-Marie (Bruce) Davis of Cobleskill, Dan Bradt (Danielle Myers) of Cobleskill, and Karrie (Cliff) Christman of Cobleskill; nine grandchildren: Ed Bradt III, Krystle and Aleshia Davis, Laurie, Mike, Dan, and Kevin Bradt and Blake Foland and Tucker Christman; several siblings and many nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held for Ed’s family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY  12043.
