One of his true joys in his later years, were his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Teri (Miller) Bartos, whom he married August 12, 1972; his three children: Denise Bartos of Virginia Beach, VA, Jeremy (Audra) Bartos of San Marco, CA, and Ed (Heather) Bartos of Fort Edward and their children: Will and Sierra Bartos. Another grandchild is expected in July. Also surviving are his three siblings: Dan Bartos of Lewistown, PA, Dianne (Brad) Corkem of Murrells Inlet, SC, and Steve (Meg) Bartos of Mount Carmel, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 138 Washington Ave., Cobleskill with Rev. Ray Richards of Calvary Assembly of God officiating. A reception with fellowship will immediately follow in the church hall.
