Richmondville- Mrs. Edna "Pat" Frank, 79, of Dodge Lodge Road, died Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital while under hospice care.

Born August 12, 1931 in Queens, NY, she was the daughter John and Violet (Shaughnessy) Staab.

Pat retired in January of 2003 from the former PC Doctor in Cobleskill. She was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, where she began her membership in Queens, and later transferred it to Cobleskill after moving to this area with her husband.

Pat was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church in Cobleskill.

She was an avid football fan, favoring the NY Jets.

Pat was predeceased by her husband, Richard J. Frank, Sr., who died Jan.19, 2003.

Survivors include her three children: Vincent (Janet) of Schoharie, Richard J., Jr. (Ron) of St. Petersburg, FL, and Kelly (John) of Richmondville; four grandchildren: Tricia (Deign), Vincent, Jr., Daniel, and Brian, Jr.; a great-grandson: Haiden Cole-Frank Lory; several nieces and nephews; and two close friends: Brian Garreau and Sheila Marsh Frank.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 138 Washington Ave., Cobleskill, with Father Edward Golding as celebrant. A committal service will be held at 1:30 PM Thur. at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Friends are also invited to a period of visitation to be held from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday, Dec. 1, at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill.
