Dorothy Liga

Cobleskill- Mrs. Dorothy E. Liga, 53, of North Street, died Sunday, August 6, 2006, at Bassett Hospital of Schoharie County in Cobleskill after a long illness.
Mrs. Liga was born March 26, 1953 in Greenville, the daughter of the late George Ahern and Myrtle Lein.
She moved to Cobleskill from Staten Island 20 years ago and was a homemaker all her life.
Survivors include 5 daughters: Dica Papanier of Cobleskill, Laurie Gately of Greenfield Center, Tanya Papanier of Halfmoon, Melissa Lambert of Richmondville, and Cassandra Snyder of Cobleskill; 2 sons: Frankie Liga, Jr. of Long Beach, NY and Patrick Liga of South Hempstead, NY; her mother, Myrtle Hurst of Indialantic, FL; 4 sisters, and 10 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on August 10, 2006 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home 171 Elm Street Cobleskill with Rev. Jennifer Dyer of the Zion Lutheran Church of Cobleskill officiating. There will be no calling hours.
