Middleburgh- Dorothy A. Dyer, 64, of Boucks Hollow Road, died Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at her residence following a long illness.

Born August 17, 1948 in the Town of Fulton, she was a daughter of the late Floyd Armlin and Mary (Felter) Curran, who survives her.

Proud of her Native American heritage, she was affiliated with the Haudenosaunee Community and enjoyed creating native inspired crafts.

Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family, including her adored cat, Bubby. She had a great love for everybody.

Survivors include her husband: Joe Dyer of Middleburgh; four children: Paul (Kerri) Bagley of Schoharie, Newton (Dawn)Bagley of Sneedsville, TN, Robert Bagley of Middleburgh and Kristy (Edward) Wren of Middleburgh; her mother: Mary Curran of Middleburgh; her siblings: Tom Armlin, Sandra Wood, Donna Enright, Kathy Best, Tammy Freeman, Floyd Armlin, and Nelson Armlin; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.

A period of visitation will be held from 2 to 3 PM with a memorial service at 3:00PM on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh. Rev. Jeffrey Kelly of the Middleburgh Reformed Church will officiate. A Native Condolence service will follow the memorial service with her son-in-law, Edward Wren, as celebrant. A graveside service will be 1:00 PM on Sunday at Armlin Hill Cemetery.
