Dorothy Deegan

Cobleskill- Dorothy M. Deegan, 85, of Anthony Circle, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at her residence with her family at her side.

Born July 23, 1928 in New York City, she was the daughter of Joseph and Lillian Kearns.
Dorothy has lived in the Cobleskill area since the 1970's and had worked at Toe Path Industries in Schoharie.

She enjoyed puzzles, looking at books, shopping, and gardening.

Survivors include her close friends: Todd Smith and Mary Lou Garrett and her family of Cobleskill, Bob and Debbie Ward of Albany and their family, and Michael Pointon of Preston Hollow.

Dorothy's close friends express a special thank you to the wonderful and caring staff at Anthony Circle ARC Residential Home.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 6 to 7 PM on Monday, April 7, 2014 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill. Burial will be private in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery.
