Dorothy Brumaghim

Cobleskill- Dorothy A. Brumaghim, 85, of Winegard Road died Sunday, July 11, 2021, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born May 5,1936 in Cobleskill, she was the daughter of Charles and Lela (Tator) Terpening.

Dorothy was a graduate of the former Cobleskill Central School.  She retired as a nurse’s aide from the former Eden Park Nursing Home in Cobleskill.

In her leisure, Dorothy enjoyed listening to country music and watching westerns.

She married Robert L. Brumaghim on June 24, 1956, and he predeceased her on June 5, 2019.  Dorothy was also predeceased by two sons:  Robert P. and Charles L Brumaghim.

Left cherishing her memories are her three daughters:  Barbara A. (Larry) Schaffer of Cobleskill, Connie L. Brumaghim of Richmondville and Nancy-Jo Brumaghim of Cobleskill; four grandchildren:  Angela J. Schaffer (Jason) and her children, Jackson and Naomi, Nikki L. Schaffer and her twins, Graecyn and Skylaer, Sara F. Berard and her son, Roman, and Stephanie R. Berard.

At Dorothy’s request there will be no public services.  A private graveside service will be held for the immediate family in Zion Rural Cemetery, town of Seward.
