Donna Schaeffer

Sharon Springs- Donna Lee Schaeffer, 61, of Sharon Springs, died Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at home in her sleep.
She was born September 11, 1945 in Springfield, MA, the daughter of Arthur and Pearl (Jernberg) Raymond.
Donna was predeceased by her husband, Garland Schaeffer, her parents, brothers, Arthur and William Raymond, and her sisters, Janet Hocking and Judith Beardsley.
Survivors include her daughter, Michele Hocking of Amsterdam, and sister, Alice (Kenneth) Gorse of Dingmans Ferry, PA, nieces, Deborah Horowitz of Fairport, NY, Denise Hocking of Rochester, NY, Diane Dobbs of Mechanicsville, NY, Tina Edwards of Dingmans Ferry, PA, Heather King of Clifton Park, NY; nephews, Michael Gorse of Monroe, NY, William Gorse of Hayden, AL, Dennis Beardsley of East Nassau, NY, Shawn Raymond of Latham, NY and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at St. Vincent de Paul Church 138 Washington Ave. Cobleskill, NY There will be no calling hours. Burial will be private at Richmondville Rural Cemetery.
