Middleburgh, NY: Donald A. LaSpaluto, 59, of Huntersland Road, died on Thurs., Feb. 15, 2007 at the home of his brother, David, in Middleburgh, following a short illness.
Don was born in Jamaica, NY on Sept. 1, 1947, a son of Donald P. and Claire Noe LaSpaluto. He grew up in Queens Village, NY and was educated at Incarnation Elementary School and graduated from Martin Van Buren High School and then attended York College in Jamaica. He was very involved with basketball in school, and was voted MVP several times. From 1993 to 2003 he was employed as a clerical coordinator at KPMG in Albany and then from 2003 to Oct. 2006 he was a machine operator for Newkirk Products in Albany.
He was a member of the Huntersland Volunteer Fire Depart. from 1981 until 1990 and was a member of the Middleburgh Bowling League from 1985 to 1997.

Friends may call on Wed. Feb. 21,2007 from 7-9 P.M. at the Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thurs., Feb. 22, 2007 at St. Catherine's Church at 10:30 A.M. with Father Thomas Holmes as celebrant. A spring interment will be held in Middleburgh Cemetery.
