Donald Denison

Cobleskill- Donald J. Denison, 90, of Early Woodland Apartments, died Thursday, June 14, 2007 at Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, NY after being stricken at home.
He was born in Cobleskill on October 28, 1916, the son of Fred and Della (Montanye) Denison. Mr. Denison graduated from Cobleskill High School in 1935 and was a lifelong area resident of the village of Cobleskill.
He was an owner, operator and supplier of vending machines.
Mr. Denison served in the Army during World War II.
His father, Fred Denison died in 1965, his mother, Della Denison died in1970 and his brother, Harold E. Denison died in 1996. There are no survivors.
A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home 171 Elm Street Cobleskill with Rev. Bert Mayne of the Carlisle Presbyterian Church officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 7 PM on Wed., prior to the service. Burial will be private.
