Esperance- Dolores A. Rosa, 69, of Priddle Road, died Thursday, July 12, 2012 at The Community Hospice at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany.
Born September 25, 1942 in Schenectady, she was the daughter of Gennaro and Angelina (Bandy) Ciccone.
Dolores enjoyed dancing, traveling and attending flea markets.
Survivors include her children: Anne (Larry) Markley of Carlisle, Rose (Kelly) Evarts of Sloansville, Michael (Kellie) Rosa of Gallupville, and Santos (Leanne) Rosa of Central Bridge; her loving companion: Leo Demeris of Esperance; a brother: Thomas Ciccone of Schenectady; her grandchildren: Rochelle (Robert) Hulslander of Carlisle, Brittany (Andrew) Noble of Warnerville, Aaron Rosa of Gallupville, Andrew Farnsworth of Carlisle, Alisa Evarts of Sloansville, Kenneth Evarts of Sloansville, and Elizabeth Rosa of Central Bridge; two great-grandsons: Logan and Landon Hulslander of Carlisle; and four step-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill with Rev. Holly Noble officiating. Family and friends are invited to a period of visitation to be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Sun., from 1 to 2 PM. Burial will be private in Esperance Cemetery.
