Clifton Park- Dolores Clapper, 86, of Old Route 146, died suddenly on Saturday,
August 6, 2016.
Born April 23, 1930 in Queens, she was the daughter of William and Grace (Little) Denton.
Dolores was a homemaker and a life member of the Middleburgh VFW Post #2161 Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald H. Clapper, whom she married December 5, 1948 and loved dearly.
Survivors include her three children: Ronald W. Clapper of Halfmoon, Sheila MacDonald of Red Hook, and Lisa Schermerhorn of Latham; her four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and two brothers: William Denton of AZ and Ralph Denton of FL.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill with Carl Clapper officiating. Family and friends are also invited to a period of visitation to be held at the funeral home from 5 to 7PM on Thursday. Burial will be in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery.
