Diane M. Vazquez, 63, of Gathen Rd., died Thurs. Feb. 21, 2008 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital, following a brief illness.
Mrs. Vazquez was born in Barre, VT on Oct. 14, 1944 a daughter of the late Chester W. and Doris L. (Burns) Blondin. She was employed as a packer at Pede Brothers in Rotterdam. Mrs. Vazquez enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with her family and friends. She was predeceased by a brother, David Blondin and infant daughter, Paula Hammond. Survivors include her husband, Edward Vazquez, whom she married on Aug. 16, 2003 and Daughters: Allison Tiltson of North Carolina, Ann Jones (Michael) of Gallupville, NY. Son: Lemuel R. Nott (Lottie) 3 Grandchildren, 2 Stepgrandchildren, Sisters: Darcy, Debbie, Drew and Donna, Half brother: Paul Gregory, Several Nieces and Nephews.
A Celebration of Diane's life will be held on Sat. May 31, 2008 at her home, from 10am on. All are invited to attend. Cremation took place at the Vale Crematory, Schenectady. The Palmer & Shaylor, Inc. Funeral Home Middleburgh and the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home Cobleskill are assisting with the arrangements.
