Dawn Manchester

Dawn L. Manchester, age 70, of Richmondville, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at her residence with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Cobleskill on January 19, 1948, daughter of the late Archie Sperbeck and Marion Palmer Sperbeck.

Dawn was a graduate of Richmondville High School and was a homemaker to her cherished family. She was of the Lutheran faith. Out of her love for animals, she was an animal rehabilitator.

She is survived by her husband Harold Manchester whom she married on January 23, 1966; two sons:  Brian (Kris) Manchester and Eric Manchester (Christine Roe), one daughter, Mandy (Jeff) Townsend; five grandchildren: Kayla Manchester, Brendon Brizzee, Dillon Horn, Kelsey Manchester and Katlynn Manchester and five great grandchildren: Carter, Preston, Kaydence, Bryce and Reagan.

In keeping with Dawn’s wishes, there will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2018 at the Richmondville Rural Cemetery, Richmondville.

Contributions in her memory may be made to Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., 297 River St., Oneonta, NY 13820.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill.
