David Henry Wayman Jr., age 63, of Richmondville, NY, passed away on Saturday, April 13th, 2024. He was born on Tuesday, December 27th, 1960 in Cobleskill Village, NY to the late David H. Wayman and Tillie ReSue.
He was a graduate of Cobleskill High School and was a lifelong resident of Schoharie County.
David proudly served in the Army from 1979-1983 and worked for Kivort Steel in Warnerville, NY. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, participating in Demolition Derby competitions at Cobleskill Fair and Fonda Fair; and tinkering and creating things.
David is survived by his 4 children, Sarah Scorzelli of Richmondville, NY, Brian Ritter (Janeen) of West Plains, MO, Jeffery Wayman (Megan) of Aberdeen, MD, and daughter; 8 grandchildren, Anthony, Hailey, Lily, Hunter, Caleb, and Anastasia; sisters: Nancy Mattice (Steve) of Roxbury, NY and Joyce Brewer (Ed) of LaPlata, MD; brother, Jeffrey Wayman (Yvette) of Fonda, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Marathon for a Better Life, PO Box 268, Warnerville, NY 12187.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home.
