David Tripp

CANAJOHARIE- David M. Tripp, 49, of Cliff Street, died Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, NY.
Mr. Tripp was born November 5, 1958 in Troy, NY and was the son of Donald K. and Mary E. (Morrison) Tripp.
He was a 1977 graduate of Mechanicville High School and work most recently as a Loss Prevention Officer for Marshall's Department Store in Colonie.
Mr. Tripp is survived by his wife, Laura W. Tripp of Canajoharie, whom he married on September 5, 1992, 2 daughters, Jennifer (Jacob) Nix of Granville, NY, Heather Koenig of Saratoga Springs, NY, 1 sister, Doreen Draiss of Mechanicville, NY, 1 brother, Donald K. Tripp II of Clifton Park, NY, 4 grandchildren, Miranda Jo McCotter, Jacob Nix, Jared Nix, Justin Nix, and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 8 pm on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY with the Rev. Duke Hergatt officiating. Calling hours will be from 6-8 prior to the service. Burial will be in Slate Hill Cemetery in Sharon, NY in the spring.
