David Lee Martin

Stamford- David L. Martin, 75, died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Robinson Terrace in Stamford, NY.

Born on May 10, 1947 in Cobleskill, NY, he was the son of Willard P. Martin, Sr. and Virginia Brooker Ryder. He spent much of his life in the local area and Hudson.

David worked as a farmer most of his life. He also worked for Gauthier Trucking Co. in Hudson.

He loved playing BINGO, coloring, word finds, and puzzles. In his younger years David enjoyed bowling.

His parents and siblings, Stephen and Pauline predeceased him.

David is survived by his siblings, Joan (Wayne) Warner of Richmondville, NY, Willard (Tricia) Martin, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, Douglas Martin of Schoharie, Kathy Kosinski of Schoharie, Ward Martin of Schoharie,
Stanley Martin of Saddlebrook, NJ and Steven Martin; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 11:00-Noon at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY 12043. A funeral service will follow the visitation at Noon at the funeral home with Rev. Russell Underwood officiating. Burial will take place in Richmondville Rural Cemetery at a later date.
