David Connors

Middleburgh - David J. Connors, 73, of Main Street, died Thursday, March 28, 2013 at his residence following a brief illness.

Born December 23, 1939 in Auburn, NY, he was the son of John and Grace (Achmoody) Connors. Raised in King Ferry, he was a graduate of King Ferry Central School.

He resided in Florida for many years and had been a landscaper at The Plantation Resort for several years before becoming disabled.

In 1997 he came to Middleburgh to live with his brother and family. Dave was an avid sports fan, able to retain many statistics regarding athletes and teams. He also enjoyed listening to the "oldies" music.

Survivors include his three brothers: Ronald (Linda) Connors of Middleburgh, John (Penny) Connors of Waterloo, and Alan (Carolyn) Connors of Aurora, NY; his sister: Ginni Hawes of Homosassa, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Main St., Middleburgh. Celebrants will be Father Thomas Holmes, Father Bill Gorman, and Rev. Jeff Rauhauser. There will be no calling hours.
