Dale Lee Chase

Richmondville- Dale Lee Chase, 64, of Lincoln Park Lane, Richmondville, New York died unexpectedly Thursday, January 11, 2024.
Born on November 9, 1959 in Oneonta, NY, he was the son of Robert Chase and Bessie Miner Chase. He was a graduate of the former Cobleskill High School and was a life long area resident.
Dale was the owner and operator of Chase Overhead Doors in Richmondville. He was also a retired NYS Corrections Officer.
Dale enjoyed life and although he may not have been here for a long time, he was here for a good time. He enjoyed riding motorcycle, dressing up as Santa Claus, and cooking for others. He loved to hangout with his grandchildren and his son in the garage. He also was skilled in carpentry.
On July 21, 2018 Dale married Shelia Nethaway. She preceded him in death on July 22, 2021.
His parents and brother-in-law, Raymond Tallman predeceased him.
Dale is survived by his children, Nicole Chase, Brandon and Elizabeth Chase, Ashley and Luke Bicknell; 6 grandchildren, Miranda, Jordan, Nicholas, Carter, Knox, Layla; brothers, Allen and Jan Chase, Robert and Nancy Chase; sisters, Laurie and John McLear, Linda Tallman; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
