Cobleskill- Cynthia J. Spicer, 61, of Elm Street, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at her residence following a long illness.
Born June 21, 1951, she was the daughter of Wallace and Norma (Lyman) Trafton.
Cyndie had been employed as a nurse's aide for several years at Marchand Manor Home for Adults in Sharon Springs.
Her three grandchildren were the light of her life. She enjoyed puzzles and perusing garage sales.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by a sister: Mariann Schrom
Survivors include her three children: Amanda Spicer, Erin Spicer, both of Cobleskill and David Miller of Carlisle; three grandchildren: Amber Miller, Payton Cail and Gavin Fehring; five siblings: Donna Loce of Richmondville, Sylvia Duda of Cooperstown, Joyce Lawyer of Howes Cave, Daniel Trafton of Cobleskill and Gary Trafton of Cherry Valley.
A period of visitation will be held from 4 to6 PM on Monday, January 14, 2013 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill. There will be no formal service.
