Cobleskill- Curtis L. Byrd, 53, of Hidden Lane, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at his residence.
He was born February 18, 1956 in Macon, GA, a son of Harry and Mattie (Lewis) Byrd.
Curtis resided in Cobleskill for the past 17 years, when he moved here from Brooklyn. He was a second degree Black Belt in Karate and had played football in his college career.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law: Clennell and Kelley Byrd of Knightdale, NC and their daughter, Khloe Byrd.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 138 Washington Ave., Cobleskill, with Sister Connie James officiating. There will be no calling hours.
Cremation took place at Vale Crematory, Schenectady.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
