Canajoharie- Clinton P. Fancher, 74, of Mapletown Rd., died Friday, October 17, 2014 at Mountian Valley Hospice in Gloversville.
Born March 2, 1940, he was the son of Percy J. and Elizabeth (Strong) Fancher. He worked on the family dairy farm starting at a young age and was then employed at Distributors Unlimited in Guilderland Center for many years.
In the past few years, Clinton enjoyed watching his chickens.
Survivors include his two children: Hope (Scott) Cole of Sloansville and David (Jacki) Fancher of Esperance; five grandchildren: Sara (Noah) Radliff of Canajoharie, April Cole of Cobleskill, Timothy Cole of Sprakers, Andrew Cole of Sloansville, and Ashley Cole of Central Bridge; five great-grandchildren; and two siblings: Evelyn Post of Amsterdam and Ernest Fancher of Fonda.
Services will be private at the families' convenience. Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Shelter of Schoharie Valley, Inc., PO Box 40, Howes Cave, NY 12092.
