Claudia Wissert

Claudia Wissert, 69, of Huntersland Rd., died Sun. June 22, 2008 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Wissert was born in Queens, NY on July 16, 1938, a daughter of the late Richard and Claudia (Falco) Walsh and worked as the manager of Barkley Manor in Newburgh before retiring. She enjoyed traveling, puzzles, candles, visiting and spending time with her family. She was a communicant of St. Catherine's Church in Middleburgh. Mrs. Wissert was a member of the Middleburgh Golden Age Club, the Hilltown Seniors of Berne, NY and the Huntersland Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Wissert was predeceased by her daughter, Debbie Wissert and her brother, Richard Walsh. She is survived by her husband, Walter W. Wissert, of Huntersland, whom she married on June 26, 1960 and

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Thurs. June 26, 2008 at St. Catherine's Church, Main St. Middleburgh. Father Paul Engel will be celebrant. Burial will follow in the Middleburgh Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday, June 25, 2008 from 6-8PM at the Palmer & Shaylor, Inc Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh, NY.
