Charlotteville -Christopher M. Williams, 47, of Meade Road, died Monday, November 3, 2014 at Albany Medical Center.
Chris was born May 14, 1967 in the Bronx, NY.
He was an Auto Body Technician and for over 20 years was proprietor of Collision Recovery, Inc. in Delmar. He loved working on cars, was treasurer of the Capital District Auto Body Association and was an avid hunter. His passion was spending time with his family. He was also a communicant of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Worcester, NY.
Chris is survived by his wife, Ruth (Foote) Williams whom he married September 29, 1990; two sons: Matthew and Robert, a daughter, Lorissa; his mother: Roberta (Vincent) Dugan of Port Charlotte, FL; three brothers: Michael (Amy) Williams of Holliswood, NY, Vincent (Robin) Williams of Bourne, MA, and Richard Williams of Mount Hope WV; a step-sister: Marcelle (Donald) Hasenflue of Rosendale, NY; two step-brothers: Hank (Loren) Dugan of Kerhonkson, NY and Vincent (Wendy) Dugan of Clintondale, NY; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Saturday November 8, 2014 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 181 Main Street, Worcester, NY with Rev. Ronald Green as celebrant. Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 7, 2014 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill. Burial will be in Charlotteville Rural Cemetery.
