Christopher Fahrenkopf

Middleburgh- Christopher Lee Fahrenkopf, 24, of Middleburgh died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.

Chris was born on September 24, 1996, in Cooperstown and was the son of Ronald L. Fahrenkopf, Jr. and Nina Taylor.  He was raised by his aunt Barbara McBain for his first 2 years and then his grandparents.

Chris has worked various jobs over the past several years.  Fishing was a passion of his and he did so on almost a daily basis.

Left cherishing his memories are his grandparents, Donald and Wanda Woodbeck of Middleburgh; his father, Ronald L. Fahrenkopf, Jr. of Middleburgh; his aunts, Barbara McBain of Middleburgh and Daphne Rivera; uncle, Walter Fahrenkopf of Breakabeen; two brothers: Jonathon and Donovan Fahrenkopf both of Middleburgh; fiancé, Katie Sawicky and numerous cousins.  He was predeceased by a brother, Winter Shaul, who died March of 2020.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 11 AM at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill where a period of visitation will be held from 10AM to 11AM, prior to the service.
