Christine J. "Chris” Hoffman (Clark), 50, of Gray Road, Summit, NY died unexpectedly Saturday, April 1, 2023.
Born on May 24, 1972 in Bay Shore, NY, she was the daughter of George R. Clark and Caroline E. (Daoust) Clark. She was a graduate of Richmondville Central School, Class of 1990 and spent most of her life in the local area.
Chris worked locally for various businesses before becoming a live-in caretaker for her mother and older sister, Cheryl.
She loved animals, including her two fur babies, Roxy and Molly. In her younger years she enjoyed jumping horses. She learned to ride at Knoll Farm in Brentwood, NY. Chris was very proud of herself for running her mother's sheep farm.
Her father, George R. Clark predeceased her. Her husband, Daniel A. Hoffman, Jr. and sister, Carol J. Woreth also predeceased her.
Chris is survived by her mother, Caroline E. Clark; daughter, Kimberly L. Hoffman (Scott Noxon); son, Daniel A. Hoffman, III (Danielle Macken Hoffman); significant other, Nicholas Mayzun of Esperance NY; sister, Cheryl M. Clark of Summit, NY; twin-brother, Roger S. (Angie) Clark of Cobleskill, NY; brothers, Jeffrey R. (Christina) Clark of Wolfe City, TX, William T. (Nicole) Nesenger; grandchildren, Gabriella, Ralph, Lilyanne, Kodie, Jeremiah, Kaydeen, Hayley, Liliana, Daniel IV, Damien; nephews and nieces, Richard W. Woreth, Jr., Roger S. Clark, Jr., Samantha E. (Charles) Holmes (Woreth), Stephanie C. Woreth, Brandyn M. Clark, Logan E. Clark, and Jacob A.Clark.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, April 7, 2023 from 10:00am-Noon at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY 12043 with a funeral following at noon. Burial will take place privately at The Clark Family Cemetery in Summit, NY.
