Carlisle- Chris, "Cooch", Biancucci, 59, of Evergreen Road, died Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown following a long illness.
Born March 4, 1951 in Gloversville, NY, Chris was a graduate of Gloversville High School. For ten years he was employed at KC Canary and then was maintenance supervisor for twenty-one years at Interknitting in Cobleskill.
Chris' most enjoyable time was that spent with his family, camping, amusement parks, and riding his motorcycle.
He was predeceased by his father, Alfonso Biancucci, and his brother, Joseph.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy (Grasso) Biancucci, whom he married June 30, 1984; his daughter, Kari-Ann (Kevin) Sanford of Cobleskill; his mother, Alice (Moyer) Biancucci of Gloversville; three grandchildren: Kiersten, Joel, and Lindsey, all of Cobleskill; his four siblings: Jay Biancucci of Cobleskill, Celestine Biancucci, William (Sharon) Biancucci, and Victoria (Rick) Erwin, all of Gloversville; several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill, with his nephew, Joshua Shuart, presiding. Family and friends are also invited to attend a period of visitation that will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM to 1:00PM on Saturday, prior to the service.
