Worcester- Charlotte E. Simmons, 100, formerly of Worcester, NY, died Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich, NY,
Born May 8, 1915 in Summit, she was the daughter of Alfred and Grace (Lincoln) Johns.
Charlotte retired from Astrocom Electronics in Colliersville where she was a manufacturer.
She was a former member of the First Baptist Church on North Rd., and attended the Worcester United Methodist Church as well.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Kenneth Francis, her second husband, Theodore Simmons, her daughter, Barbara Collins, and her son, Kenneth Francis.
Survivors include nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 31, 2015 at East Worcester Cemetery (lower), East Worcester, NY. Officiating will be Rev. Daniel Martin of the Worcester United Methodist Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill and Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home of Middleburgh.
