Charles Butler

Cobleskill- Charles B. Butler, 91, died Saturday, January 27, 2007 at Eden Park Health Care Center where he had been a resident for the past 4 years.
Mr. Butler was born March 17, 1915 in Ridgefield, NJ, the son of George and Effie (Bradberry) Butler.
He was employed for 36 years, from 1942 to 1978, for New Jersey Transit.
Charles lived in Cobleskill for the past 23 years and was an avid bowler with the senior citizens league as well as a golfer.
Mr. Butler was predeceased by his two wives, Elsie Carmen Butler, who died in 1981 and Elizabeth Drummond Butler who died in 1984.
Survivors include 2 cousins: David Geene of Whitning, NJ and Louis Geene of Scotia, NY, and his companion, Helen Bell of Cobleskill.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home 171 Elm Street Cobleskill. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon to 1PM on Tuesday. Cremation will follow the service and inurnment will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson, NJ
