Carol Jean Schaub, 87, of Sharon Springs died Saturday, November 23, 2024 at her home. Born in Seward on May 19, 1937, she was the daughter of Harry and Elvina (Kniskern) Campbell.
Carol was a 1956 graduate of Sharon Springs Central School. She was a keypunch operator for New York State for 33 years in multiple departments, most notably the Division of Social Services.
She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Seward.
Carol is survived by her sister, Marlene Grant of Jamestown, NY; her niece, Diane Andrews of Springville, NY; her nephew, David (Trisha) Grant of Twinsburg, OH; her great-nieces and a great-nephew: Alyssa, Erica, Kara, Nathan, Brenna, Presleigh; her great-great nieces and nephews, Camreigh and Oakleigh and several cousins.
Services for Carol will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Carol's name to the Zion Lutheran Church of Seward, 114 Mesick Ave. Cobleskill, NY 12043.
