Fultonham: Camille R. Bersey, 86, died peacefully on Wednesday July 30, 2014, at her daughter's home.

Camille was born in Nashua, NH on September 17, 1927 to Cecile (Marquis) and Adelbert Jette.

She worked as a waitress, most recently at Sunlife in Wellesley, MA, a job she thoroughly enjoyed. Camille was honored to have received the Heimlich Maneuver Award from Henry Heimlich himself, after saving a customer's life.

Camille was a former member of St. Matthias Church in Marlborough, MA and had lived in Ft. Pierce Florida, prior to 2013, when she moved to her daughter Barbara's home. She was an avid bowler, bocce ball player and synchronized swimmer. She also enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, rooting for her favorite team, the Boston Red Sox, and coffee flavored ice cream.

She cherished her family and also loved children very much.

Camille was married to Edward Bersey on July 3, 1950 until he predeceased her in 2002. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Diane Brown in 2012 and four siblings.

She is survived by her daughter: Barbara (Frank) Tatten of Fultonham; sons: Robert (Eileen) Bersey of Northboro, MA, John (John Devereux) Bersey of Worcester, MA; three sisters; four brothers; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; son-in-law: Stephen Brown of Port St. Lucie, FL.

Services will held at the family's convenience. Cremation took place at Vale Crematory, Schenectady.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, Middleburgh and the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, Cobleskill.
