Brian Miller

Howes Cave- Brian R. Miller, 33, of Shady Tree Lane, died peacefully on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at his residence.

Born June 11, 1978 in Cobleskill, he was the son of Gale (Homburger) Miller. Brian graduated from Capital District BOCES Living Program and attended day treatment services at Schoharie County ARC where he enjoyed his membership with the friendship club.

Brian enjoyed spending time with family and friends for cookouts and holiday gatherings. He particularly enjoyed the Christmas holiday with its music, lights and especially his Christmas trees. A small tree would travel with him at all times during this season. Some of his favorite hobbies were watching helicopters, fans, flashlights, listening to radios, looking at local periodicals (My Shopper), Scooby Doo, and watching football and baseball games.

Survivors include his mother, Gale (Homburger) Miller of Howes Cave; seven siblings: Michael Miller of Cobleskill, Brenda (Stephen) Lammers of Middleburgh, Paul Miller of Clifton Park, Darrell Miller of Howes Cave, Chris Miller of Howes Cave, Leslie Miller of Largo, FL, and Larry Baylis of Howes Cave; his uncle: J. Joseph (Jane) Homburger of Cooperstown, and numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 138 Washington Ave., Cobleskill with Andrew Lockwood as officiate. Family and friends are also invited to a period of visitation to be held at the church prior to the service on Tues., from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will follow the service at Bramanville-Prospect Cemetery, Bramanville, NY.
