Richmondville- Brian Keith Dibble, 59, of Harroway Road, Richmondville, New York died unexpectedly at his home Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
Born on March 10, 1964 in Cobleskill, NY, he was the son of Carlton Victor Dibble and Gloria Walsh Travis. He was a graduate of the former Richmondville Central School and was a lifelong resident of the local area.
Brian was a Union Mason for Local #2 out of Albany.
He was an avid sportsman and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed salmon fishing, deer hunting in Virginia, and bear camp downstate. He took pride in his vegetable garden. He also enjoyed making maple syrup in the spring. He was a 20 year participant of New York State Bow Hunters Sighting Log and was a member of the East Worcester Fish and Game Club. He loved winning the NASCAR league.
On August 30, 1986 Brian married Lori Stahl.
He was predeceased by his parents, both in 2021; father-in-law, Rudolph Stahl; step-father, Alton Travis; brother-in-law, Michael Adair; nephew, Jason Adair.
Brian is survived by his wife of over 37 years, Lori Stahl Dibble of Richmondville, NY; daughter, Amanda and Joshua Bishop of Schoharie, NY; brothers, Carlton Dibble (TerryAnn) of Richmondville, NY, Jason Roth (Karen) of Fuquay Varina, NC; sister, Carla Francis (Peter) of Ayden, NC; nephew, Nicholas Dibble of Albany, NY; niece, Rachel Francis of Ayden, NC; step-brother, Alton Travis, Jr. (Kara); mother-in-law, Margaret Stahl; brother-in-law, Kenneth Adair (Donna); sister-in-law, Cheryl Mitchell; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, January 19th from 1:00-2:00pm at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY 12043 with a memorial service following at 2:00pm at the funeral home.
