Sloansville- Billy Rivenburgh, Jr., 50, of Beckers Corners Road, died unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, August 29, 2020.

Born April 24, 1970 in Cobleskill he was the son of Linda A. Mattice and the late Billy Rivenburgh, Sr.

Billy graduated from the former Cobleskill Central School in 1988 and attended Hudson Valley Community College.  He has been a longtime employee of Walmart for 23 years with his career mainly as an auto technician, but most recently a clerk at the registers.

Most of his life Billy could be found tinkering on cars and working with others on their cars as well.  He was a NASCAR fan and loved his dog, Brooke.

Cherishing his memories are his mother, Linda A. Mattice of Climax; his sister and brother-in-law, Christina and Michael All of Sharon Springs; his niece, Brooke All of Cobleskill; a half-brother, Josh Rivenburgh and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Billy was predeceased by his father, a brother, Daniel, and nephew, Matthew All.

Family and friends are invited to a period of visitation to be held from 9AM to 11 AM on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill.

A private memorial service will be held for the family with inurnment following in Grovenors Corners Cemetery.
