Seward- Beverly M. Schoonmaker-Fletcher, 72, of West Richmondville Road, died Sunday in the comfort of her own home.

Born December 5, 1947 in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Pearl (Hallock) Schoonmaker.

She retired from Cobleskill Regional Hospital where she was employed as a dietary aide.

Beverly was a former member of the Cobleskill Fire Dept. Auxiliary.  She was a proud supporter of Marathon for a Better Life and the B & B Angels Team and received the Angel Award in 2019.

She loved spending time with family, picnics, campfires, watching hummingbirds around the house, windchimes and music boxes.

She was the loving companion for 26 years to Edward Redmond; devoted mother to Dawn (Waters) Brown of Cobleskill, Karen Waters of Cobleskill, Lisa Waters of Maryland, Kim Diamond of Sharon Springs, Raymond Fletcher of Walton, NY and Robert Fletcher of Cobleskill; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Beverly was predeceased by her siblings: Fred and Robert Schoonmaker and Richard Christian.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 7, 2020 from 12PM to 2PM at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill with a graveside service immediately following at 2:30PM in Maple Grove Cemetery, Worcester, NY.  COVID-19 guidelines of facial coverings and social distancing will be respected by all as well as the Travel Advisory from High Risk States.  All are invited to view the graveside service on Zoom Meeting ID: 832 65712830 Password: 845306.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY  12043.
