Beverly Croote

COBLESKILL- Beverly A. Croote, 74, of Hammerstone Village, died Monday, November 26, 2012 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital after a brief illness.

Beverly was born June 9, 1938 in Summit, and was the daughter of George and Gertrude (Bender) Croinex.

She was a graduate of the former Richmondville Central School and had been employed at the former Holiday Inn Express in Schoharie and had also worked for several years at Stepping Stones Day Care. She was an avid reader, a crossword enthusiast, and also enjoyed bird watching.

Beverly is survived by her daughters; Stacey (George) Antonino of Williston, FL, Connie Croote and Diane Croote, both of Richmondville; three grandchildren; Tioni Kala Croote of Schenectady, Kayleigh (Lewis) Robinson of Schoharie, and Christopher (Amanda) Croote of Summerfield, FL; four great-grandchildren: Nicholas Robinson of Schoharie, Scarlet Besenval of Schenectady, Mya Gifford and Landen Croote, both of Summerfield, FL.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 PM on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill. Family and friends are also invited to a period of visitation to be held at the funeral home prior to the service on Friday from 5-6 PM. Cremation will follow the service at Vale Crematory in Schenectady, NY.
