Beverlee Carr

Richmondville- Beverlee Jean Carr, 76, of Main Street, died Monday, March 12, 2012 at her daughter's residence.

Born December 31, 1935 in Seward, she was the daughter of Nathaniel and Marie (King) Southworth.

Beverlee was a lifelong area resident, employed at the former Eden Park Nursing Home in Cobleskill as a licensed practical nurse for over twenty-five years.

She was a member of the Worcester Women's Club. Her most pleasurable time was that spent with family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Beverlee also enjoyed doing word finds.

She was predeceased by two husbands, Bernard Jump, who died Jan. 12, 1989 and Gerald Mott, who died Sept. 20, 1996 and two sisters, Anna Marie Smith, who died June of 2003 and Melba Southworth, who died in infancy.

Survivors include her four children: Vicki Mitchell, Desiree Jump, Paul Jump, all of Richmondville and Jeffrey S. (Brenda) Jump of Oneonta; two brothers: Harold (Jackie) Southworth of Worcester and Nathaniel (Deanna) Southworth of Seward; eight grandchildren: Heather Fancher, Lisa (Doug) Fancher, Sonja Waters, Graham (Donna) Fancher, Matt (Jen) Jump, Breanna Jump, Nathan Jump, and Dakota Fancher; seven great-grandchildren: Macaela and Shyanne Waters, Myke, Tristan, Brittany, Daneeka, Ethan Fancher, and Ryan Lawyer.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 16, 2012 at Lawyersville Cemetery with Rev. Pacia Ferrell-Vamvas officiating. There will be no calling hours.

Memorial contributions may be made to Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care, 795 E. Main St., Suite 11, Cobleskill, NY 12043.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill and Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh.
