Pikeville - Betty Jean Kingsley, 72, went to be with her Lord on Monday at her home.
Betty Jean was born in Hobart, NY on November 10, 1940 to the late Raymond Kingsley and Lavilla Maybie Kingsley. She had been an employee of the daycare at Second Baptist Church and later worked at Wayne Christian School. Betty Jean was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with the Rev. James Frasher officiating. A graveside service will be at a later date in Flat Creek Cemetery, Gilboa, New York under the direction of Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh, NY.
Betty Jean is survived by her sister, Janet Kingsley Hallock of Middleburgh, NY; her brother, Reggie Kingsley and wife Lorraine of Pikeville; and several nieces and nephews including: Paul Hallock, Tracey Pearson and husband Tom, and Robin Haight and husband Steve, Michael Kingsley and wife Carrie, Machelle Kingsley and Marcie McCollim and husband Timothy.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 11:00 am in Flat Creek Cemetery in Gilboa, NY.
