Beatrice Tubiolo

Cobleskill- Mrs. Beatrice Tubiolo, 91, formerly of Cobleskill, died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown.
Mrs. Tubiolo was born March 20, 1917 in Italy, the daughter of Joseph and Frances (Donia) Saponaro.
She was a retired seamstress that had worked in the garment industry for years in the New York City area. Most recently of Marchand Manor in Sharon Springs, Mrs. Tubiolo had lived at Early Woodland Apartments in Cobleskill since 1996, and prior to that had resided in Grand Gorge.
She was a communicant of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Grand Gorge.
Her husband, Michael Tubiolo predeceased her on Oct. 23, 1991. Also, she was predeceased by two brothers and her sister.
Survivors include her son and wife, Anthony and Kathleen Tubiolo of Cobleskill; her daughter and husband, Santa and Lawrence Fancher of Conesville; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Saturday, October, 18, 2008 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church State Route 30 Grand Gorge. Inurnment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Grand Gorge. There will be no calling hours.
