Beatrice Bouck

Mrs. Beatrice A. Bouck, 97, of Cliff Street, died Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at her residence following a brief illness.
Mrs. Bouck was born September 12, 1911 in the Town of Seward, a daughter of John and Zanna (Ruland) Manchester.
She was a resident of Middleburgh for many years and was co-owner, with her husband, of the Novelty Newsroom in Middleburgh from 1953 to 1975. Mrs. Bouck was an avid reader and enjoyed embroidering in her spare time.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edwin Bouck; a daughter, Beverly Van Dyke; and a sister, Henrietta Kilts.
Survivors include her daughter, Lois Shufelt of Preston Hollow, and her son, Brian Bouck of Middleburgh; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be private. There will be no calling hours. Spring interment will be in Breakabeen Cemetery.
