COBLESKILL- Barbara A. Wright, 60, of Campus Drive, died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital after a brief illness.
Barbara was born January 28, 1951 in Cobleskill, NY and was the daughter of Fred H. and Melva (Dietz) Wright.
At one time, she was employed at Schoharie County ARC, but for most of her life, she was a homemaker to her family.
She is survived by two sons, Fred R. Wright of Richmondville, NY and Eric (Michelle) Wright of Cobleskill, 5 Grandchildren, Jonathan Wright, Courtney Wright, Zachary Wright, Owen Titshaw, and Joshua Wright, as well as one sister, Margaret Althiser.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill, NY with Rev. Norman Moran of the First Baptist Church of Cobleskill officiating. A period of visitation will be held from 1-2 PM, prior to the memorial service. Inurnment will follow at Cobleskill Rural Cemetery where she will be buried with her parents.
