Barbara Kelley

Barbara A. "Ma" Kelley, 74, of Main St., died Sunday, July 13, 2008 at the Cobleskill Regional Hospital, Cobleskill, NY, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Kelley was born in Syracuse, NY on April 6, 1934 a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Edith R. (Huntley) Marangone. She was married to James Kermit Kelley, Sr., on December 15, 1956 and together they owned and operated Kelley's Bar & Grill on Main St. in Middleburgh. Many patrons will fondly remember Ma 's good cooking and plain talk. She was a Communicant of St. Catherine's Church in Middleburgh and enjoyed collecting bears and Asian art. Mrs. Kelley was predeceased by her husband, James K. Kelley, Sr. on April 20, 2008 and also by her sister, Betty Marangone and her brother, Germano Marangone. Surviving Mrs. Kelley are:

Many Nieces and Nephews, including Debra Levy of Cupertino, CA.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, July 21, 2008 at the Palmer & Shaylor, Inc. Funeral Home, 134 River St. Middleburgh, NY. Rev. Carol Coltrain will officiate. Cremation took place at the Vale Crematory, Schenectady, NY.
